The Kulliyyah of Education (INSTED) is pleased to announce that, in
conjunction with IIUM's silver jubilee celebration, an International
Conference on Teacher Education will be held in July 2008. The details of
the conference are as follows:

Theme : TEACHER EDUCATION IN THE MUSLIM WORLD
Subthemes : Teacher Education Philosophy, Policies and Programme
Accreditation and Certification of Teacher Qualifications
Teachers and Teacher Educators
Teacher Education Systems
Teacher Education for Different Levels
Teacher Education for Specific Subjects
Leadership and Supervision Training
Counseling Education
Dates : 14-16 July 2008 (Monday-Wednesday)
Venue : Kuala Lumpur

Therefore we would like to invite you to sumbit a paper to be presented in
the conference. Email your abstract (no more than 200 words) to us no
later than 31 March 2008. If accepted, your full paper (6,000-8,000 words)
should reach us no later than May 31 2008. We look forward to your
contribution and participation in the event.
